RunwayTO 2025 Recap

On June 21 at Parkdale Hall, RunwayTO brought another iconic show to Toronto’s fashion scene. This year’s theme, Fashion Fusion and Innovation, introduced creative-bold designs that were made with precision and details that left some serious impressions.

This year’s leading sponsor, Echo and Ember, opened the show in a short documentary before the models entered the catwalk. RunwayTO represented Olesia Lazovaia, Stavas Menswear, Wave Weir, Delcyna, OJOYI, Bantu Gold, Blac Moose, Sana Ehtasham, Jansu Jan, Noelle West Bridals, and Anup Gupta.

From suits and traditional wear to cocktail and bridal dresses, the evening was nothing short of enchanting. As RunwayTO is about expression and identity in fashion, the event showcased collections from various cultures and creative minds—resulting in stunning pieces. Each collection had a playlist tailored to its vibe as the models walked down the runway, enhancing the viewer experience. RunwayTO is more than just a fashion show—it’s an experience where designers, brands, influencers, models, media, stylists, and makeup artists connect and create something even more inspiring.

The venue had a very elegant evening aura, surrounded by black curtains and flashing cameras that lit up the catwalk. In between shows, guests had the opportunity to network, relax, and even take photos at the RunwayTO’s sponsor backdrop and red carpet.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes and backstage, the models were kept busy with outfit changes and getting their hair and makeup done, while the coordinators made sure everything was going smoothly and on task. At the end of the runway itself was the media crew taking the best possible shots of the models as they displayed the outfits with elegance and edge.

As the last show came to an end and the evening wrapped itself up, guests left with inspired smiles as RunwayTO 2025 slayed another season of style. Fashion Fusion and Innovation embraced diversity and novelty, leaving everyone excited and curious about what the show will bring next year.
