TITUS: THE SUNDAY ISSUE

On September 27, TITUS Collection brought together fashion, conversation, and Toronto’s creative energy for THE SUNDAY ISSUE — an intimate gathering in the heart of the city’s Fashion District.

Led by designer Thea Titus, TITUS Collection welcomed a curated circle of creatives and fashion industry professionals into the brand’s private loft studio. Rather than following the conventions of a traditional runway show, THE SUNDAY ISSUE created a space where fashion, culture, and personal expression could exist beyond the runway.

The collection was first presented earlier this year at Toronto’s Own Fashion Week, but this time it took on an entirely different character. Instead of a conventional runway presentation, guests were invited directly into the world of TITUS — one that felt closer, more personal, and more expressive.

At the heart of THE SUNDAY ISSUE was a curated High Tea Experience, with signature tea and a selection of sweet and savoury offerings. Yet it was the atmosphere surrounding it that defined the afternoon. The distance between the presentation and its audience seemed to disappear, transforming the showcase into a performance that felt spontaneous, immersive, and at times almost like gathering among family.

That sense of closeness became one of the most distinctive elements of THE SUNDAY ISSUE. Fashion did not exist separately from its audience; it unfolded around them through conversation, interaction, and a shared experience.

For a Toronto-based label, hosting the event inside its own studio in the Toronto Fashion District felt like a natural extension of that idea. Rather than bringing TITUS into a traditional fashion venue, Thea Titus invited guests directly into the world of the brand — the very place where it is created.

And perhaps that is why THE SUNDAY ISSUE felt less like a fashion show and more like a moment guests were invited to become part of.
