On July 25, one of Toronto’s most anticipated fashion events returns, once again bringing together designers, models, industry professionals, and fashion enthusiasts. This year’s edition, RunwayTO 2026: LUMINARY, continues to establish itself as one of the city’s most exciting platforms for emerging talent and creative expression.

Since its launch in 2023, RunwayTO has evolved from a runway showcase into a non-profit initiative that champions designers, models, and creatives while fostering a stronger sense of community within Toronto’s fashion industry. Today, it serves as more than a runway—it is a space where fashion, culture, and creativity intersect, creating opportunities for collaboration, conversation, and discovery.

This year’s theme, LUMINARY, encourages designers to interpret fashion through their own perspectives. From couture to contemporary ready-to-wear, each collection will reflect its creator’s vision, blending storytelling, cultural influences, and innovative design.

The runway will feature collections from 12 designers: Stavas Bespoke, Roberta Barauskaite, Sinthu Naganathan, Treble, Olesia Lazovaia, BLAC MOOSE, Jennifer Lamont, Sana Ehtasham, Prabha Maharaja, SISI STYLE ME, and Lavinia Couture. Together, they represent the diverse creative voices helping shape Toronto’s evolving fashion landscape.

With more than 400 guests expected to attend and over 100 models set to take to the runway, RunwayTO continues to grow as one of the city’s leading independent fashion platforms. Beyond the runway itself, the event has become a place where designers, creatives, media, and industry professionals connect, collaborate, and celebrate the future of Canadian fashion.

Following previous themes such as Elevate, Timeless Elegance, and Fashion Fusion & Innovation, this year’s LUMINARY marks the next chapter in the event’s evolution. More than simply presenting new collections, RunwayTO continues to position fashion as a platform for creativity, storytelling, and cultural exchange.
