Fashion Art Toronto Announces SS26 Season
Everything You Need to Know About the City’s Most Anticipated and Longest-Running Fashion Week
Fashion Art Toronto runs May 25–31, 2026, marking the platform’s 21st season. It brings together over 50 designers, artists, and brands across a city-wide programme of runway shows, immersive installations, exhibitions, and retail pop-ups. This is the platform’s most ambitious edition yet — and a clear signal of where independent Canadian fashion is headed.
The season’s programming spans some of the city’s most iconic venues: T3 Bayside, the Historic Distillery District, the former Hudson’s Bay and Saks Fifth Avenue flagship, The Danforth, and the Textile Museum of Canada. The continued expansion of FAT’s Offsite format reflects Toronto’s growing confidence in its own creative identity — a city that is drawing more international attention than ever before.
The season’s theme — Toronto, Show Yourself — is at once a rallying cry and an open invitation. The lineup captures the full breadth of Canadian fashion: couture and avant-garde, Indigenous design, streetwear, sustainable textiles, sculptural beauty, and multidisciplinary practice — all sharing one runway.
Season highlights include the launch of THE (SHOW) ROOM, a free luxury retail activation inside the former Saks Fifth Avenue space known as The Room; free public programming at the Distillery District; the Maison Perrier Fashion Week opening party; and FAT’s signature Fashion Playground at T3 Bayside.
“This season is the biggest in our history. There is real momentum around Canadian fashion, with more global attention than ever. Toronto has the talent, the ambition, and the creative voice to meet this moment,” said Vanja Vasic, Founder and Executive Director of Fashion Art Toronto.
