The fall semester is just around the corner, and that means it’s time for back-to-school shopping, a cleaned-up schedule, and textbook reviews. Being a Pinterest girl on campus is more than just feeling put together—it’s an entire lifestyle.

The most important part about being that girl on campus is how you dress. With classes starting up in early September, it’s the perfect opportunity to make your fall wardrobe look like you just walked out of a Gilmore Girls scene.

Starting with a colour palette of forest and sage greens, cream whites, browns, and auburns, your outfit will match the changing leaves. Plaid and pleated mini skirts are a must-have with sheer black tights and Mary Janes. It’s sweater weather, so of course it’s time to pull out oversized grandpa sweaters and baggy jeans, with a good old-fashioned tote bag.

Speaking of tote bags, whether it’s a simple on-brand tote from a downtown indie store or a bougie black leather work tote, that girl always comes to school with her laptop bag ready to slay the campus corridors like her very own catwalk.

Pumpkin spice lattes plus library studying equals perfection. If you want to romanticize campus in the fall, you need to put on your moody-weather playlist and drink a comforting café beverage while you complete your newly assigned projects. Don’t forget to prioritize your grades and stay on top of your classes! That in mind, who says you can’t be smart and show up to school photoshoot-ready?

Physical health can’t be ignored; find some cute fitness clothing, and get your workout in between your studies. It keeps your head clear, your figure toned, and improves your sleep, which is crucial as a student dealing with constant academic stress.

If you need a break, take a walk outside and appreciate the autumn vibes while we have them, or read a book to fill your time. There’s something special about lighting a candle, making some tea, and immersing yourself in the pages of another world to leave school behind for a few blissful hours.
