Catalyss Fashion Society: 7 Designers, One Purpose

Inside the Charity Runway Show in Support of Women’s Health Collective Canada

On the evening of March 8, 2026 — International Women’s Day — Catalyss Fashion Society transformed the second floor of Arcadia Earth at The Well into something far greater than a fashion show. The evening was not just about fashion — it was about the power of community, creativity, and the urgent need to address the gap in women’s healthcare funding in Canada.

The annual CFS Charity Fashion Show welcomed approximately 350 guests. A red carpet and live violin performance set the tone for an evening dedicated to raising funds for Women’s Health Collective Canada (WHCC) — an organisation advancing research, education, and access to women’s healthcare resources across the country.

Seven designers took to the runway, each bringing their own vision to the evening’s collective message.

The show opened with Summer Zhang, whose collection balanced contrasts: black and white, structure and lightness, the earthly and the ethereal. One look stood out in particular — a fitted one-shoulder black dress with sculptural details at the waist, paired with a hat adorned with crystal pendants.

 

Maison Lerie Bridal presented a bridal collection where romance meets refined craftsmanship. Each look told its own story: from a minimalist mermaid gown with a veil to a voluminous satin ball gown with a corseted bodice adorned with floral appliqué — classic bridal at its very finest.

JJSO presented a collection that exists between two worlds — sensual and restrained, daytime and evening. The lineup opened with an impeccable black look: a long strapless satin gown paired with an oversized wide-brim hat — cinematic and unforgettable. Equal attention was drawn to a deep red silk dress with cutouts at the waist, balancing seduction with elegance.

IN LUV WITH VIVIAN presented a collection that blends vintage and romance. Pastel tones, corsets, tops, and mini skirts — each look radiated playfulness and ease. Daring and bold, yet impeccably feminine.

Equally striking was the presentation by Marianne Botros — a brand known for silk scarves featuring original artistic prints that reflect the designer’s Egyptian roots and transform every look into a living canvas. Scarves have been a persistent trend for years, and Marianne Botros made one thing clear: this is not merely an accessory, but an essential part of the look.

Yaser & Mayasa brought a collection that breathes luxury. Every look tells a story in which fabric is the protagonist. The gold metallic set — a bandeau top paired with a pleated slit skirt — captured the brand’s philosophy entirely: luxury as a state of mind, not simply clothing.

Ivory Sheep closed the evening — and they did so on the highest possible note. The brand, founded by high school sweethearts Mackenzie and Michael, was built on one idea from the very start: fashion as art, not a disposable trend. The collection was energetic, romantic, and full of character: a burgundy velvet gown with lace gloves, soft pink ruffled mini dresses adorned with oversized bows — each look adding more emotion than the last. Ivory Sheep closed the evening the way only those who build their own world from scratch can — boldly, brilliantly, and with love for every detail.

Beyond the runway, the evening was a testament to what Catalyss Fashion Society has quietly been building since its founding: a creative community that believes fashion and purpose are not mutually exclusive. By choosing to partner with Women’s Health Collective Canada, CFS elevated this show into something far more meaningful — a reminder that the industry has a role to play in the conversations that matter most. If this evening was any indication, they are only just getting started.
