Toronto’s Own Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2027: A New Stage for Canadian Fashion

From historic architecture to emerging design talent, Toronto’s Own Fashion Week returns November 10–15 with a citywide celebration of fashion and creativity.

This November, Toronto’s Own Fashion Week (TOFW) returns for its Fall/Winter 2027 season, transforming one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks into an unexpected fashion destination. From November 10–15, 2026, the independent platform will bring together runway presentations, designer exhibitions and creative experiences across Toronto, with the historic Old City Hall serving as its centrepiece.

Beyond showcasing Canadian talent, TOFW continues to explore how fashion can inhabit the city’s cultural spaces, turning familiar landmarks into settings for new creative perspectives.

On November 14 and 15, Old City Hall will open its doors to two days of runway presentations and designer exhibitions, placing contemporary collections against the backdrop of the building’s historic architecture.

Among the designers and labels expected to present are Call and Response, NICHEGO, Crerar, LOCO ONE and Delcyna. One name, however, remains a mystery: the designer selected to close the show.

The element of surprise has become part of the event’s appeal. Last season, Dorian Who was revealed as the closing designer only on the morning of her presentation.

Old City Hall follows a series of unconventional locations that have helped shape TOFW’s identity, from the underground setting of Lower Bay Station to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, the Toronto Reference Library and the Church of the Holy Trinity.

What to Expect This Season

The week begins on November 10 and 11 with a Designer Showroom at RCHIVE on King Street West, offering a space for designers to connect directly with buyers, industry professionals and fashion enthusiasts.

On November 12, the Wicked Fashion Show will turn the spotlight towards the next generation of creative talent.

A more intimate presentation follows on November 13 with The Alexander Nicholson Experience at It’s OK* Studios. Dedicated to the Toronto-based designer, the evening will bring together a solo runway show, exhibition and showroom, offering a closer look at his creative universe.

The program culminates with the main runway presentations at Old City Hall on November 14 and 15.

A Platform for Canadian Talent

Since its inception, TOFW has grown from an independent initiative into an established presence on Toronto’s fashion calendar. Across five seasons, the organization reports welcoming more than 12,000 guests, presenting 64 designers, 540 models and 960 runway looks.

Produced by RCHIVE, the nonprofit platform focuses on creating opportunities for Canadian designers, connecting emerging and established names with audiences, media and potential industry partners.

As the Fall/Winter 2027 season approaches, TOFW’s choice of Old City Hall reflects a broader ambition: to give Canadian fashion greater visibility while making the city’s architectural and cultural heritage part of the experience.
