On 4 October, The 2026 edition of Grande Gala della Moda concluded with great success on 27 September at Domus Garden Club, inside Milan’s racecourse, during Milan Fashion Week. The event stood out for its distinctive concept: an outdoor runway designed to take the audience from daylight into the night, making the natural passage of time an integral part of the show.
A Fashion Journey: From Golden Daylight to Haute Couture After Dark

Conceived as an aesthetic journey through time, the show opened with gold jewellery, catching and reflecting the afternoon’s natural light in a luminous and precious first moment. The runway then welcomed Bartolino’s linen collection, whose light fabrics and refined elegance echoed the outdoor setting. As daylight gradually gave way to evening, the atmosphere evolved, leading the audience towards the night’s most striking collections. Reggium Couture and Fany Angela Alta Moda took centre stage after dark, bringing the drama and theatrical impact of Haute Couture to the runway.
From Natural Light To Nightfall

Light was at the heart of the project. Rather than simply choosing an outdoor venue, Grande Gala della Moda built the show around the transformation of its surroundings. Daylight enhanced the jewellery and natural materials; sunset marked the transition to a more sophisticated mood; and night provided the setting for the Haute Couture collections. It was a journey from the radiance of gold to the lightness of linen and, finally, to the theatrical power of Haute Couture.

Amid a calendar filled with fashion events, Grande Gala della Moda chose to take fashion beyond conventional indoor spaces, turning Milan’s racecourse into an open-air runway. The venue, the changing light and the progression of the collections created a dialogue between fashion, light, architecture and performance-not simply a sequence of runway looks, but a story unfolding through different atmospheres.
A Success that Confirms the Format’s Growth

The strong participation of guests, brands and fashion professionals confirmed the growing appeal of Grande Gala della Moda, a format that brings fashion to prestigious locations and transforms them into distinctive stages for new experiences.
“We wanted to tell Milan’s fashion story through a different language. That is why we chose an outdoor runway and built the entire journey around light. We began with gold and daylight, moved through Bartolino’s linen, and reached the night with the outstanding collections of Reggium Couture and Fany Angela Alta Moda. The transition from day to night became part of the show itself.” Stefano Cilfo, Organiser of Grande Gala della Moda
