On July 25, RunwayTO 2026: LUMINARY returned to the heart of Toronto, bringing together designers, models, creatives, and fashion enthusiasts from around the world for an evening celebrating artistic expression, cultural diversity, and fashion without borders. Now in its fourth year, the annual event continues to establish itself as one of Toronto’s leading platforms for emerging talent, international collaboration, and cultural storytelling through design.
This year’s programme also featured a live panel discussion, seamlessly woven into the evening’s experience. Moving beyond the season’s latest trends, the conversation explored some of the fashion industry’s most pressing challenges, including sustainability, environmental responsibility, the growing influence of artificial intelligence, and other issues shaping the future of global fashion.
The runway presented a rich spectrum of styles, cultural influences, and artistic perspectives. From avant-garde silhouettes and contemporary ready-to-wear to refined eveningwear and bridal couture, each collection offered a distinct narrative, revealing the designer’s unique vision, craftsmanship, and creative identity.
