Grande Première 2026: Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy Presents the Next Generation of Canadian Designers

The Annual Graduate Runway Show You Don’t Want to Miss

On 2 May 2026, the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau will host Grande Première 2026 — the annual professionally produced runway show of the Richard Robinson Fashion Design Academy. Doors open at 5:30 PM, with over 600 guests expected including industry professionals, media, VIPs, alumni, and members of the public.

Grande Première is more than a student showcase. It is a full runway event where original collections from graduating designers share the stage with couture garments created by first-year students. The evening is a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity, and talent — and an annual reminder of just how strong Canadian fashion education truly is.

Over the course of the evening, guests will witness work that represents months of dedication: from the first sketch to the final walk. This is where the names worth watching are born.
