Six Shades You Need to Try This Season
Bio Sculpture’s reformulated Colour Gel lineup — from inky navy to earthy brown — is as clean as it is striking.
If you’ve been thinking about your next nail colour — Bio Sculpture just made the decision a little easier. Their new collection The Deep Edit, which landed in early February, brings six shades with genuinely distinct personalities: from deep navy to soft earthy brown. Fair warning: picking just one is harder than it sounds.
Astrid — Navy Blue
Been searching for the perfect navy? This is it. Deep, with a cool indigo undertone, it works just as well on long almond-shaped nails as it does on shorter styles. Easily our favourite in the collection.
Cassia — Earthy Brown
Soft, warm, sitting somewhere between nude and terracotta — this is the shade that just works. If you want something more interesting than a classic nude but nothing too bold, Cassia is your answer. Effortless to wear and goes with everything.
Fiona — Dusty Mauve
The most unexpected shade in the collection — which is exactly what makes it interesting. Not quite mauve, not quite dusty pink — something entirely its own. If you gravitate towards complex, hard-to-name colours, this one’s for you.
Marisol — Bright Orange
The boldest in the palette — and the most seasonal. Warm, golden-orange, made for spring and summer. Looks especially great on short square nails. If you love colour, don’t overthink it.
Mira — Forest Green
A muted green with a blue undertone — not loud, but definitely noticed. Pairs beautifully with gold jewellery and darker outfits. The perfect pick if you want green but aren’t quite ready for a full emerald moment.
Octavia — Deep Wine
A classic that never really goes out of style. Rich, berry-toned wine — if you already know this kind of shade works for you, Octavia is a worthy addition to your rotation.
Worth mentioning: the formula got an upgrade too. Bio Sculpture has reformulated their Colour Gel — improved pigments, and both HEMA and TPO have been removed from the formula. If you’ve had sensitivities to gel products before, that’s a detail worth noting. Application feels smoother, and the wear is solid.
